Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable law firm to find an experienced Family Law Paralegal in Georgia. This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and motions.
  • Manage case files and maintain document databases.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Handle client intake calls and scheduling.
  • Prepare engagement letters and collect retainers.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Prepare and file court documents.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness files.
  • Prepare submissions for expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with monthly billing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary with a range between $75,000 to $80,000 annually.
